City rats

City rats which live in the underground 
They know the darkness of the night 
and the deepness of a pond builded by the rain
They look at the eyes of the pedestrians 
and their mirror is enough strong to accept 
the ashes of alien realities
Despite of all, they visited the bottom of the palaces,
the basements of joy,
the first stone of the unbuilded avenues,
the lakes with nice boats,
the kitchens of old restaurants.
City rats will survive because
they know the ground very well
and they went down to hell many times,
they even hesitate if it really exists.
